Transdev’s customer experience team receives global recognition

Transdev’s New South Wales (NSW) Bus Customer Experience team has achieved global recognition winning the Service Champion in the Customer Service team of the Year category at the International Service Excellence Awards, awarded by the Customer Service Institute of America.

The award follows the team’s 2019 Customer Service Team of the Year (Small Team) Award win at the Customer Service Institute of Australia’s (CSIA) Service Excellence awards.

It recognises the team’s success promoting a culture with customers at the heart, improving the quality of customer management and correspondence, and facilitating enhanced customer service skills across the organisation.

“Transdev’s team stood out for the way they developed a customer-focused culture across the organisation,” said Christine Churchill, Founder and CEO of the Customer Service Institute of America.

Transdev is a leading provider of bus, coach and on-demand transport services in Sydney. The team of in-excess of 1,000 employees operate a fleet of 455 buses to deliver 23 million customer journeys each year.

Managing Director of Transdev’s NSW bus operation Robert Macey, said the global award was a wonderful testament to the team’s commitment to supporting local customers.
