Transdev and electric mobility: an international commitment

Transdev is at the forefront of the energy transition, already a reality in its field of expertise thanks to an offer of eco-friendly solutions for electric mobility. Transdev currently operates more than 600 buses (with more than 700 planned by the end of 2019) and electric minibuses in service at 27 sites in seven countries. With the Amsterdam and Eindhoven networks, two of the most modern and cleanest in the world, Transdev is the leading European operator of “zero emission” electric buses. At the end of 2019, the French fleet of Transdev electric vehicles will consist of 200 vehicles of all formats (cars, minibuses, buses, trolleybuses, coaches, etc.).

In the summer of 2019, Transdev plans to open two electric bus lines (Valence Romans Déplacements, Southern PACA Region). In addition, the Group will put into service in France the very first zero emission fuel cell & hydrogen electric bus line in the Lens metropolitan area. Another project of this type will be launched later in Auxerre, in addition to two other projects in the Netherlands.
