Transdev Melbourne announces new Managing Director

Transdev Australasia today announced Loretta Lynch as Managing Director, Transdev Melbourne. Ms Lynch will join Transdev from Aurizon, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in international and domestic large-scale operations, managing people, contracts and finance across rail, public transport, construction and mining.

Ms Lynch will join Transdev from Aurizon, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in international and domestic large-scale operations, managing people, contracts and finance across rail, public transport, construction and mining.

Ms Lynch has previously held the positions of Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at G:Link, Keolis Downer’s Gold Coast light rail operation and will replace Ian Craig as he focuses on his role as Chief Operations, Bus Operations for Transdev Australasia.

Luke Agati, CEO, Transdev Australasia welcomed Ms Lynch to Transdev saying: “Loretta is a well-recognised and experienced leader in the public transport industry, with a unique combination of commercial and people leadership expertise and a strong track record of delivery of complex major projects and organisational targets.

“Loretta joins Transdev Melbourne at an exciting time, and is well qualified to build on recent business successes. 

“Under Ian’s leadership, Transdev’s Melbourne bus operation has delivered significant business improvements and a renewed focus on the things that matter – delivering a safe, reliable and clean service for our customers,:” he said.

Loretta is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has held multiple corporate board positions; she is also a Fellow of the Australian Society of CPAs.

Loretta will join Transdev on 16 March.
