We have made the decision to strengthen our leadership presence in New Zealand with the creation of a new dedicated Executive level role, supporting our growth and strategic vision for the region.
Greg Pollock will join Transdev Australasia’s Executive team in April, appointed Managing Director of New Zealand.
Greg is a proven leader with 25 years’ experience in the public and private sectors. He will join our team from Greater Wellington Regional Council where he is currently General Manager, Public Transport, responsible for the management of Metlink’s bus, rail and ferry networks.
Prior to joining Greater Wellington Regional Council, Greg was Managing Director of Pollock Consulting, Chief Executive of FairWay and Business Director at Beca.
As Managing Director of New Zealand, Greg will report directly to Transdev Australasia CEO, Luke Agati, and lead our excellent local leadership team, working closely with the Managing Directors of our Auckland and Wellington bus and rail operations.
Greg will be focused on enhancing relationships with our clients and stakeholders, growing our footprint across New Zealand, and ensuring we continue to improve public transport services in the communities we operate.
He will join Transdev in mid-April and will be based in Wellington.
