Over the past few weeks we have seen a tremendous amount of community spirit and generosity emerge from the devastation of the bushfires.
Businesses, families and communities all want to reach out and make a difference. It is clear that the impact of these fires will continue to be felt throughout the year.
Transdev Australasia will donate $30,000 to the Australian Red Cross to provide a contribution to the direct support that is needed now.
Locally our teams across our bus, light rail and ferry operations in Australia have been organising fundraising events to support key bushfire relief agencies and established a group fundraising page
Supporting our people during this time is of utmost importance to us and we will be providing special leave on full pay to the volunteer fire fighters in the team and additional leave and support to employees in our team who have been directly impacted by the bushfires.
