He began his career in 1987 at the regional management of the French Ministry of Transport, heading up the department in charge of Motorway Management.

In 1990, he joined the Gu00e9nu00e9rale des Eaux Group where he held different positions, as Vice President for the Southern Region, Chargu00e9 de Mission working alongside the COO of the Group (1991), then alongside the Financial Director of SARI / SEERI (1993). In 1995, he was appointed Managing Director of the Water subsidiary in Spain. He then became Chairman & CEO of Aqua Alliance Inc., subsidiary of Vivendi Water USA (1997). In 2000, he was appointed Executive Vice President of Vivendi Water Systems in charge of Europe.

Then, he joined Degremont (Suez Group) as COO (2003) and as CEO (2004). In 2010, he became Executive Vice President in charge of International Operations and member of the Executive Board of the Group. Finally, he became Executive Vice President in charge of Innovation, Business Performance and Marketing (2013).

In September 2016, Thierry Mallet was appointed Chairman and CEO of Transdev group. He is also member of the Executive board of the Caisse des Du00e9pu00f4ts.

He began his career in the banking sector, first in the legal department of BNP Paribas Asset Management (2000) and then in the Legal Affairs Department of the BNP PARIBAS Group, Corporate and Investment Banking division (2002). In 2006, he joined the Autoritu00e9 des Marchu00e9s Financiers (AMF) as an inspector in the Investigations and Surveillance Department; he then joined the Regulatory Affairs and International Affairs Department as a Chargu00e9 de mission (2009) and then as Director of the Information and Financial Operations Regulation Division (2011).

In 2012, he joined the Caisse des Du00e9pu00f4ts et Consignations Group, as Advisor in charge of economic and financial affairs to the Chief Executive Officer, then in 2013, as Director of the Group Steering Department.

In December 2016, Antoine Colas was appointed General Secretary of the Transdev group and member of the Executive Committee. He supervises the Legal Department, the Risk and Insurance Department, the Security Department, the Institutional Relations Department and the Communications Department as well as the Transdev Foundation.
