Our team at Transdev Melbourne has welcomed the dispatch of the final 14 buses of Victoria’s single biggest order of replacement buses in 25 years as they head into service on the network.
These buses, part of the Victorian Government’s 100 new bus order, are transforming the customer experience improving safety, reliability and comfort for our customers.
The new buses were built in line with the Victorian Government’s Local Jobs First Policy, creating jobs in regional centre Ballarat and sustaining employment in Melbourne suburb Dandenong.
This commitment is a testament to the Victorian Government’s commitment to public transport and improving the customer experience across the network.
Our key partners, the Victorian Department of Transport, Scania Australia, Volgren Australia and Gemilang Australia were instrumental to delivering this project ensuring the new fleet are safe and ‘network ready’.
